The nominating conventions are by party by-laws. Independents don’t need one.
Candidates can move around their district to gather signatures. Those needing 100 can take two weeks. Those needing 1,000 can take 3 months.
A PARTY can qualify so you don’t have to sign for each candidate to get on the ballot.
